Yes, I agree with the first answer. I read the book then went to see the movie, I thought then they were comparatively alright, even though some minor parts in the book were omitted for some technical reasons. However, the movie is worth watching; as for the book, it's written based on Papillon's plight and adventure. Therefore, we can learn from both that we need to take care of ourselves since we simply can't foresee our future, we need honesty, integrity and intellect regarding our existence in the unpredictable world.
