The Twins say he reported in great shape, even though his pics on the Twins site show that he still looks like a bloated puffer fish. What do you predict he will do for the Twins this year? Give me a wins and era prediction... thanks!

Okay, I am gonna give big Sid a chance here. I say he will thrive under Rick Anderson and go 16-9 with a 4.25 era. Wishfull thinking I know, but Andersonis such a great coach that I have faith!

I live in the Baltimore area and love the Orioles. Ponson, when he was here, was a total immature flake that drove the O's fans crazy. He had a wealth of talent but I don't think his maturity IQ ever rose above double-digits. I hope I'm wrong, for the sake of the Twins fans, but I predict that he'll go 1-4 with an ERA of 6.0 plus before the Twinkees either trade him or cut him. Sorry!

I too am skeptical that he will discover his full talent. I am an Orioles fan who watched him show flashes of brilliance when here, but I also saw him mess with his mechanics unnecessarily and pitch very inconsistently. Prediction? Only about 20 starts, only six wins and "only" two stints on the DL.
