Yes - I totally agree - Unfortunately the rest of the country doesn't seem to see that Labour are going to continue to Tax middle Britain while looking after themselves. Look at the way they taxed all the private pensions - and yet the Government pensions (for Blair & Brown) are left intact.
Labour must fall at the next General Election... but some how I don't think it will happen.

The fact that Tony Blair appears to have decided who our next Prime Minister is going to be rather than the Labour Party or the electorate is a worry in itself.

You only need to look at Gordon Brown to see that he is NOT a normal human being. He is far too intense to have the interests of anyone but himself at heart, and anyone who bites his nails like he does has a problem that means he should NOT be trusted with the stewardship of the UK.

Nevertheless, name ONE member of the current House of Commons who you would like to be Prime Minister, of any party. I suspect there isn't one. We are in a political wilderness and need a strong leader to form a new party, determined to address the issues that the people of this country talk about day to day but which they all shy away from.

Blair is expected to brief Brown about the follies he committed by blindly toeing the American line and looking after their interests at the cost of the lives of UK soldiers.
Taxes will not kill you but the stupid decisions will.
Your country shall provide you enough to pay taxes but if your honour and dignity is at stake nothing can save you from embarrassment.
Change is always good, let's try it out once time more.

Basically we cant trust him anymore than we can trust Blair. I think they need a sojourn in the political wilderness of opposition and perhaps they will then take more notice of public opinion.

I wouldn't trust any career politician. Brown however, if you are English, should be viewed with grave suspicion as he will only do things that ensure his reelection and he comes from Scotland where most if not all the laws being enacted in Westminster do not effect the population as they have their own parliament.

we desire some kind of regulatory equipment as all of us comprehend now that the economic sector will no longer be able to be depended directly to regulate itself. in spite of policies they nevertheless got here across the needed loopholes to award themselves extensive bonuses on the price of their banks, and now, the taxpayer. Browns failure replaced into no longer in his action, it replaced into his state of being inactive: New Labour spent a decade attempting to no longer offend the enormous gamers in the city, they subsequently created a regulatory equipment with loopholes you need to rigidity a coach and horses via, and did no longer provide any of the three companies suggested the ability to handle the placement. it fairly is his timidity, being terrified to step on absolutely everyone's ft, that have made him the villain, or between the villains, of the piece.

I think they are both on the same level - complete pr*cks and you are correct in assuming that he will tax us further and further into our pockets, only this time he can deny it (as he has done all along in his time as Chancellor) and blame it on the poor sod who takes over from him.
