A wise man once said: Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.

So, you just have to figure if the money is worth staying or if it is time to move on. Don't ever quit before you have other work lined up.

Good luck,Hon.

Make some adjustments to your job. such as be creative on each order from your boss if it needs creativity. You have idle times as you said so make use of it. Bring anything handy in your job that will make you develop a skill. So that if you can develop a skill such as to be a language expert (english) then it will open you for other job oppurtunities. If you don't have a four year degree, then try to have one first. Its better to finish 4 0r 5 year course/degree wherever you go and it will be a plus for you to any job you want to have.

I guess you do not have job satisfaction. Check few of these.

1. What is your educational back ground, does it match with your current job?
2. What is your previous work experience, does it match with your present job?
3. What are your qualities? Whar is your strength and weakness? Does it justify your being in the position in which you are working?
4. When you accepted your current job, did you know your job description or did your employer narrated your job description? If not, ask for it and go through it. You may find answer.
5. Deceide whether you need this job or not? If you are financially capable, then consider resigning from this job and prepare yourself for full time studies or else continue this job, find a suitable job and consider part time studies.
6. Select a course which assists you in getting suitable job, which enhances your quality, work experience and strength.
7. As you are approching completion of the course, start finding a suitable job. Internet will assist you a lot. While applying for the job, study the job market for the similar position so that you know your remuneration and what to expect out of new job.
8. While you are accepting the job, consider discussing your job description with your employer, agree on it and follow it during your service.
9. If you think these all does not help you, consider change in career which suits your taste best. Accordingly you can study and obtain job.

I think there is no harm in discussing your job description with your boss. Explain and prove to him that with current job you are wasting your talent and ability. He will, if he is professional enough, discuss this with you and do needful. If he is not, then he won't do this exercise with you. This is very important exercise which is part of employee appraisal.

I am sure you can do this for your betterment. I advise not to continue this job out of desperation for very long time as lack of job satisfaction, due to improper immediate boss and working atmosphere in total, will spoil you becoming better and sucessful employee.

As I see it, you have three choices:

1. Keep working at this job and go to college at night to train for something you would be happy doing. If your company pays for continuing education, let them help you!

2. Secure another job and give your two weeks' notice.

3. Go to college full time.

Your financial status will dictate what you need to do, but I wouldn't be bored. Life is too short to be unhappy.

Now you are complaining you are too free, or not getting enough to take home.
It boils down to personal attitude whether you like your job or not.
Ask yuorself what you want to be, it seems your current situation favours you to upgrade yourself to fulfill what you want yourself to be.
Take a positive approach to each day in live, be it a working day or not.
Start your day fresh in the morning, smile to yourself in the mirror and say to yourself that today you are going to make youself a wonderful day. Control your temper, focus your thoughts, enjoy your works co-operate with your colleagues and stay happy with everybody... and GOD bless you.

The solution is simple:
You go out and you look for a job that is more to your liking.

Throw caution to the wind, but only just.
Be spontaneous, though cautious, and seek out a calling in life that you will love.

Start looking for a new job. Don't quit this job until you find another one though.
