That film exposes the who problem: the US media doesn't talk about any of those facts, it buries them. People are shocked by the facts contained because they've been lied to for decades in the name of "US interests".

What shocked me about the movie wasn't the array of facts; what shocked me was how uneducated the US public were about the reality outside their borders. The only thing in that movie which I didn't know before seeing it was Bush's direct connections to the bin Laden family. The reason I knew was because I watched and read the world's media (I'm Canadian and not saturated with the daily lies of the US media).

Do yourself a favour and read some of these sites. Most of them are politically moderate and a _few_ are leftwing (and I use both terms in the _world's_ view, not the US's) but that doesn't mean they're wrong; inevitably, they've been right about everything in Iraq. Considering that all the US media are rightwing and have been proven wrong, what's wrong with listening to other voices? It doesn't mean you have to agree with their politics.

I have seen it, It's breaking records and raising blood pressures nationwide. Michael Moore directs this critical look at Middle East policies before and after Sept. 11. Moore focuses especially on the effect new laws have had on civil liberties and on the deep connections between the First Family and the Saudi royal family.

It's been so long since I watched that, I think I'll go watch it again tonight. I remember that I stopped watching Fox news so much after that. I like to be informed from all points of view. I remember all the bashing that Moore got from it. My son and I saw it together and it made him mad as all get-out. I'm still sick that Bush got into office how he did. Yeah, it did open my eyes to things.

I enjoyed the movie. It left me sad, angry, elightened and skeptical. While I believe much of it is very true. At the end of the day a movie is made to make money not change the moral fabric of a society.

It amazes me how the media and one person controls the lives of so many Americans. I think Michael Moore is a butt. He wanted attention and once again we all did not get the whole story just what he wanted us to see. Just like the media.
