I recently have been offered the option of receiving my paycheck by using a Pay Card, it is like an ATM card where they load your pay onto a card. It sounds like a good idea, but does anyone have any stories.

and how do you use this card, can you deposit it into your bank account, do you still get a pay stub?? I can understand direct deposit into your bank account and be given a pay stub listing, gross, net, taxes with held etc.
What you are talking about sounds very suspicious to me.

I would request it to be direct deposited into your checking account. Then you can you use the day after it deposited for your bills, food, etc and you can get cash from the bank if you need it for anything.
