not really but i do have a friend who is like the oppisite of me and we have been friends since age 4

Even though we don't have everything in common, my friend Crystal and I are so much alike that people at our high school and even work would get us mixed up.
As for a "disaster" , no. Of course, since we have been friends for 14 years we have had our disagreements, but never anything drastic. And since we can read each other so well, we know how the other is feeling and etc.
It's like we were seperated at birth.
I think that if you find a friend that you have a lot in common with is a blessing in disguise. You both can be there when you need each other the most.

if you mean having an intimate relationship with such a person - then yes - it's probably a disaster.

I've found if you think you have alot in common, it's usually because one side isn't exactly being truthful.
