im a bit shattered - i had to fire someone today

Ouch! Firing people sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
It's been fairly uneventful here. I did my errands this morning, two loads of dishes, two loads of laundry, another load of dishes, made dinner, did some research, and parked my butt on the couch for Idol, and did some crosswords. All I need to do now is email a couple friends, turn off the dishwasher, wait for the dryer, and hopefully make it to bed by midnight to start all over.

Firing someone shattered you? Dude, I've been fired MANY times and I wouldn't be as happy as I am, if I hadn't been. Sometimes people get you to fire them just because they don't have the guts to quit. Get over it, just like the guy you fired will.
By the way, I became a landlord today. I just had my first tenant move into my first rental property. Partly because I want to be free from the 9-5 grind someday. So maybe you did this person a favor and spurred them on to bigger and better things.

My honey had an interview for a new position and he got the job, my day was alright , but really long I work in a factory from 3pm to 1:30am Can you say tedious and boring!!

I'm sorry. Firing people sucks. Getting fired is even worse. Did you make them cry? It will be okay...life goes on...we get old and eventually die.

eeek, rather you than me. that sucks. could be worse - you could be a character from days of our lives... then you'd have found out that your mother's actually your sister and your girlfriend is actually your mother and your father who you thought was dead is alive and trying to kill your neighbours dog

good...very busy....cleaned a house (not mine)...got groceries...made dinner...went thru all this stuff to be sold (like a yard sale)...cleaned the kitchen...got a shower & hairwash....watched American Idol...now on here..
