I just got a new hinda and I am always changing from D to D3 between 20 30 MPH.

If its a new car you shouldn't be changing gears at all just put it in drive and go that's all you need to do its not a manual trans which maybe that's what you should have got because automatic means just that its all automatic no need to do any changing.

Better for the car? I don't know, I would just leave it in drive. But better for your wallet? (Better gas mileage?) Leave it in drive, the higher the gear, the lower the RPM's, the less gass burned.

If you are driving in hill area you are correct.If flat ground just leave in drive.

just leave it in drive it is better to let it shift on its own

you should drive in highest d gear or od
