Contraceptives, like condoms, birth control pills and/or patches, are often employed to reduce the risk of pregnancy.
The 72-hour pill can also prevent pregnancy, if consumed less than three days after sexual intercourse has occurred, but it has stirred up controversy for much the same reasons as abortion has done, so you may prefer to avoid this method, which is typically used only in urgent situations.

Permanent measures include surgeries, i.e. vasectomy, which would prevent you from reproducing in future. Of course, that could be considered a drastic measure, and it's something that you'd likely want to discuss with your wife and your doctor, if you ever consider it.
As mentioned, there are also alternatives to vaginal sex, i.e. oral sex or anal sex, that you may choose to explore.

Why is she not on birth control pills or using and I.U.D or u could have a vasectomy. There r numerous means of birth control, discuss it with ur doctor for one best suited to u both.
