I have twins, boy/girl, and have tons of clothes for boys and girls now. When I have future kids, im all set. Problem is, many have stains :( I was told later on not to dry them, as they set the stains!! Im so bummed as I have some cute cute stuff!

Does anyone know how to get stains out that have already been set? Any grandma secrets out there?! Please :)

I know someone who sprayed Shout on her son's clothing that had set in stains, and left it on there for a couple of days, one of the items even had paint on it, and that removed most of the stains. The clothing was dried in a dryer, so not all of the stains came out, but it did help a lot. Here are a couple websites you can check for help on other various stains. Hope this helps!!

formula stains are set by heat, any protien needs to be cleaned in cold water, you can start trying every stain remover you can buy, some might work and some never will come clean, kids make a mess at that age anyway so save the clothes spots and all for home wear anyway. i also had some newborn clothes i got and used for some of my little girls teddy bears, she loved dressing them and never liked dolls till she got into barbies.

for the past 5 years i have sprayed the stains w/ shout and let it sit for 30 minutes and then i soak them in hot water w/ oxy clean..
until the water turns cool and then wash w/ all of that on it and it works most every time..i have 4 kids...and do not do this on delicate fabric,it works on cotton and most all fabs

it has done great on spaghetti,choclate....
