Different cultures have different views about women in general. As a result, they also hold different views about menses and menopause. Some cultures deny women certain rights during menses, while others actually consider them strong and powerful - that can be a positive strength and powerful or a deadly strength and power, depending on that culture. So one can be more accepted once they reach menopause, while other cultures may reduce their quality because they can no longer produce children. Others will value them for the information they carry.

A lot of views are changing regarding menopause, etc.. First it is really up to us if we even want others to know when we are or are not on our time. Many women are now looking at menopause as the new sexual revaluation since they can have more freedom with out worrying about pregnancy. Much like the original reaction to birth control pills.

What is "our culture"? Centuries ago old women or older women were considered the wise ones, those who have to be consulted with. In today's society - old women i.e. women after menopause are usually old or older, so in a society that worships youth, they are non existent. They become invisible sort of. That is why plastic surgery, hair dyeing and and other measures are taken by millions of women around the world. Men want young women not old ones so what are the older women supposed to do? Our culture, no matter where around the world, is bad for older women, and women should rebel against this attitude.
P.S. I am a woman.

confident i've got faith social prestige with regards to adult adult males and how they are judged with the aid of that extra while women human beings our located extra on the sweetness standards. i think of that should make a distinction. some women human beings are appropriate as they become older on a similar time as some adult adult males have a large beer gut and bald, etc. yet removing the social prestige component. i think of maybe the reaso this thought exists is via the fact the version of fellows and girls human beings. adult adult males's epidermis is thicker, adult adult males have extra rugged advantageous factors than women human beings. Like a solid looking guy could be rather, yet i assume a guy might routinely have rugged goodlooks or handsome advantageous factors. as a result, maybe some wrinkles do no longer shake up the guy's seems as lots via fact the female or maybe combination in extra ideal? maybe area of it must be the version there. adult adult males have sharper, extra rugged advantageous factors with the face and the floor thicker, tougher, as a result, wrinkes would possibly no longer visually have a similar effect from the likely extra advantageous shift from a woman having softer, epidermis and extra tender advantageous factors to extra rougher looking advantageous factors with the wrinkles maybe? while, adult adult males have already got extra rugged advantageous factors clearly so looking a splash rougher blends in extra ideal maybe or no longer as dramatic via fact the shift from a woman's advantageous factors.
