No problem, as long as they stay away from adultery. Anything that might lead you to that direction is a No-No. (a lot like catholics right?)
Sometimes, they have to be chaperoned by a relative too.
But there are tons of different kinds of muslims and how they interprete the age old laws. Some are moderate and some are really strict.
My friend a really strict believer even had his wedding ceremony in two seperate rooms. One for the men, one for the women. Just looking at someone who isn't legally connected to you, could be considered adultery.
For me, this is too much.

In modern society a muslimah (muslim woman) can go out on a date with a guy if she is accompanied by her mother/sister/bro
ther.She can not go out alone only with her guy because it is dangerous for her .She will be accompanied by the third that is satan..Satan is the dangerous enemy of humans who will bring human into wrong doing such as a rape.Besides that she should wear the covered clothes from her foot arms up to her hair.Her body should be full covered for her safety that her body does not invite the wrong doing.God instructed muslimah to wear that clothes as stated in the holy Qur'an.It is better if the guy make a date at her home and be witnessed by her parents.

I've asked this question many times.I actually liked a persian girl for awhile,but it seemed like it was the wrong thing to do because of what complications might come and such due to cultural beliefs religious reasons etc......I would proceed with caution if i were you or if you have any interest in a muslim girl.Their men seem to get really vengeful of that stuff.

lol dating is forbidden, any personal contact between a girl and a guy alone before marriage is not allowed. However you can go talk to her family if you would like to marry her (you must convert first, and be well educated).
