you most likely have other signs in your horoscope that do not mix well with other water signs, even though you are one yourself. I am scorpio/taurus/aries; I should like pisces and scorpios, but I hate them. Really. Pisces drive me bonkers. Ok maybe hate is a strong word but we don't naturally tolerate each other well. I do like cancers, though they usually end up being irritated by me. : )

It is not necessary that one watery sign should go well with the others. Cancer and Scorpio in any case cannot go well with each other. Cancer and pisces can go. Further whether you are able to get well with the others or not is more dependant upon the exact degree of your ascendant which helps you to judge your sublord- if it is jup- you go well with the educated persons, elders, and keep quiet with the rest, sat- go well with persons who are tooo elder to you and with labourers, working class and in matters requiring you to be cautious; if it is Mars you go well with persons who are submissive, if it is mercury you go well with children, persons younger to you, and persons who come in contact with you for a short period of time, if it is venus-you go well with everyone, if it is sun you go well with persons who can make you rise and in matters requiring secrecy and confidence, etc.

I am a water sign and my father is cancer. He used to beat me as a child, and I blame astrology for it.

dont believe that astrology thing. take life as it comes. it has nothing to do with the stars and planets and stuff like that. it is your conscious mind that is making you believe that you dont get alon well with other water signs.
