Im conserving Nash becuase he in simple terms receives extra appropriate and extra appropriate. have you ever watched the Suns without Nash? they're SO clueless. it really is the in effortless words time at the same time as communities decrease into the Suns lead at the same time as Nash is out. have you ever reliezed that virtually each participant to pass to the Suns have outstanding year/s? Its all because Steve Nash! Dirk has extra help than absolutely everyone interior the league (in effortless words excecption Steve Nash, yet he makes them extra appropriate) Dirk has Howard(the second one maximum significant participant on the crew in the back of Dirk. in case you do not comprehend, the Mavs are 18-2 at the same time as howard scored a minimum of 20 factors this year, scarey because he's averaging 19.5 factors a sport) Terry (it really is likely between the acceptable gamers below the radar interior the league), Stackhouse (puffed up yet no longer undesirable) and they have a majority of those function gamers. Howard is fairly having an all-star season. in effortless words crew that has extra appropriate function gamers is one among the Spurs of they're championship days. the reason i actually dont like Arenas as MVP is because he hasn't performed some thing Kobe did not do very last year. the in effortless words element Arenas is doing that Kobe hasn't is averging over 6 assists (which truly isnt that impressing.) So what if Arenas had a 60 factor sport? Kobe had an 80 one factor sport! And it isnt like the Lakers had a dropping record very last year, they're interior an similar position because the WIzards at present, if no longer a touch in the back of. What about Yao Ming?! If he comes decrease back and they are communities wins and he averages a touch extra appropriate numbers he became, then he ought to defianly be interior the communicate of MVP. I advise he's already averaging round 26, 10 and a couple of. he's fairly the acceptable capturing huge guy interior the game in the back of Dirk (which must be both form 2 or 3 interior the MVP polls) Nash or Dirk ought to win it because they're the acceptable gamers on the acceptable communities... yet you not at all comprehend, someone would wonder us and characteristic a good relax of the season after the all-star spoil (umm Dwayne Wade or LeBron absolutely everyone?)

arenas? nooooooo. if kobe didnt win mvp back when shaq was still with the lakers and he was trying to be the better player on the team like arenas is now with the wizards, then arenas will definitely not get it. he's too much of a ballhog if you ask me... 30 points in a half?? how many 40+ games has he had this season alone?? wow. he's pretty valuable, but the man needs to learn team ball. that doesnt make for a good mvp.

steve nash?? maybe... but come on... again?!?!?!????? sure he gets better every season, but if that's what they are using as the basis of choosing then you might as well award all the players who improve every year too. no doubt he is one of the best, but his team just cant function without him. he's proven once again that he is very valuable but he also has a very good supporting cast around him. so that just makes it easy for him to play well and to make everyone else that much better.

kobe??? for the first time in a long time, it just might be likely. he's a lot like nash in that he too gets better every year. the only difference is he doesnt have much help around him like nash does. he has learned to pass the ball more but when he needs to lift his team, he will take control and that's where the value comes in. the lakers is kobe's team... everybody knows that. he is the leader and this season he has singlehandedly been the driving force for this team. when kobe was out the first four games of the season, they still won without him. his leadership stretches beyond what he can do out on the court because his decade long experience in the league is what the young guys on his team look up to. and considering all the injuries this team has had to put up with, they arent even doing that bad because they still try their hardest.

dirk??? well he is playing on the best team in the nba so that means a lot. he's one of the best all-around players in the entire league because he's a good defender and an amazing shooter. i mean come on... those fadeaway jumpshots are insane! unlike nash and kobe, his supporting cast is good but totally underrated. there definitely are some very overlooked players such as devin harris, jerry stackhouse, josh howard... and dirk just happens to be their main man. a lot of players contribute on that team, but dirk is by far their most valuable.

FINAL RULING: kobe bryant

after this loosing steak I think Kobe is out of the race... Arenas will get it but i don't think it is this year. The mavs are having a record season and I think if Dirk stays healthy it will be him. I mean Micheal Jordan even said "Dirk is shaping up to be one of the best players in nba history." Nash did make a good case though, all season not losing by more than 10 and then he goes out and they get blown out twice.

Kobe Bryant deserves it. Hes a lot more matured and has a better understanding of the game. Out of Dirk, Steve, Gilbert and Kobe, who has the worst supporting cast? Kobe Bryant's team does, he has his team in playoff contention, with key players injured(Kwame Brown, Luke Walton, Chris Mhim). You got to give credit to Kobe Bryant, he's come a long way to get to this stage in his carrer as a number one option. Kobe and the Lakers has beaten, Phoenix Suns, and I believe Dallas Mavs twice.

DIRK.......Far better and stronger performances. However....Nash will be a STRONG candidate since he shows his value most while not playing. While not dressed his team plays much much worse showing his value as a leader and player when he is dressed.
