I have a favorite radio station I listen to. I can get it just fine in my car no matter where it is, but not in my apt. I have tried setting the radio in differant locations through out the place with no luck at all. I even bought a new radio and still can't get the station. I get plenty of other stations in fine, just not my favorite one. What could be the problem? Do I need to call the radio station? Never had this happen at my previous residence.

Any solution to my problem will be much appreciated.

Apartments usually have an outdoor antenna connection for the TV somewhere in a room. Sometimes it looks like the "Cable" outlet and sometimes it looks like two screws on a wall plate. In some occasions there together along with your cable outlet. Buy antenna wire from "radio shack" and attach it to your radio. That should do the trick. If that doesn't help than the best thing you can do is to hear the station online.

Ask your maintenance person if you indeed have an external antena in your apartment. You may need to purchase additional componets to do this. Total cost might be anywhere between $5 to $10

External Antennas: If your device has an external connection for a radio antenna (you can see if it does by looking at the back of the unit for a screw- or plug-type connection labeled ANT or FM ANT), here are some options:
A "T" type wire antenna can be attached, provided you're willing to experiment with positioning it on the wall behind the receiver (the antenna has to be fully spread out to work).
A "rabbit ears" antenna can help, though these can be fussy with positioning.

There shouldn't be a problem with the FM dial go up 2 or down 2. If that didn't work attach an old clip to your antenna such as a hanger LOL or a roll of alluminum LOL. If that didn't work buy a new radio with a good stereo. Google your radio station , it might be online where you can here it live. Or you might live in a zone where the signal fades off. Sometimes too, you may have a lot of frequency through multiple appliances in your apt. To find the common denominator you have to write a list of possible reasons and do a process of elimination.
