No. Major League Soccer is equivalent to the second division in England. Even if he performs well over there, he will not be in the eyes of Steve Mclaren. His international career is, no doubt, over.
Instead he should have moved to EPL. But none of the top 4 clubs would have taken him.

for him personally, most likely. think of all the attention he's gonna get in the US, to play in a generally poor quality league as well. at this point in his career there's really nothing else for him to accomplish, since his international career is more than likely finished.
