I saw this video I think on VH1. It's a band playing on the street in some city while people walk by and look at them funny. It kinda looked like they were in front of a store. They had a bluesy rock or mabye southern rock kinda sound. Lots of details I know but I only saw it once and can't remember much about it.

I recall a similar music video by that guy who did "Your body is a Wonderland" but I can't think of his name right now. Oh what is it? I think that might be the video you might be talking about. John Mayer? That's who I'm thinking of. I think John Mayer's voice sounds exactly like Donovan Leitch, of Wales. He did Wear Your Love Like Heaven, Sunshine Superman, Hurdy Gurdy Man, Season of the Witch, Lalenea, Poor Cow, Catch the Wind, First There is a Mountain (Which the Allman Brothers did on thier Eat a Peach Album live in "Mountain Jam" and all instrumental like 80 minute song) Whatever happened to those album orientated jam bands like that?

It can be any band man. You've seen the video and you have lots of details. You saw it once.
If you can't find the name, how would we be able to?
I'm sorry I'm questioning you back instead of answering but with this much information, its bit hard to find which band actually was that.
There are number of songs with same kinda situation where the band members are playing in the street.
