In my opinion racist is a word that gets thrown around WAY too much, and in hypocritical methods. Don't worry about it, as long as you arn't hurting anyone of another race. Stereotypes are something that most people have, and there's nothing wrong with them in my opinion. You don't need to be politically correct ALL the time.

Since the term is the only "white identity which does not view itself as the norm from which all other races and ethnicities deviate" and "because white trash is, for whites, the most visible and clearly marked form of whiteness," this confusion may "perhaps help to make all whites self-conscious of themselves as a racial and classed group, to bring...us one step closer to a world without racial division, or, at the very least, a world where racial difference does not mean racial, symbolic, and economic domination" (ibid, introduction).

A related stereotype is that of the redneck, though they differ considerably. A rural middle-class person may proudly characterize himself as a redneck (for example, the comedian Jeff Foxworthy uses his "redneck" persona as part of his schtick), but might be genuinely offended if called "white trash." "White trash" is a more pejorative, geographically different racial slur.

Permissive attitudes toward this phrase have softened somewhat in recent years and recently some have self-described themselves as "white trash", similar to ethnic slurs against other groups that are permissible only when self-directed, similar to black musicians referring to themselves in what might otherwise be considered pejorative terms.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that. From what I understand, racist people never have any fun...they are too busy wasting their time hating others instead of getting out in to the world, interacting with others and learning something new.

It's good to admit that you're racist. You're being honest with yourself. But the next step is gettin some serious help, I mean serious help! Try getting involved in those types of groups that help people overcome their "racist view and thinking". Good luck!!

It's matter between you and God. When Martin Luther King tried to bring everyone together, we know now it was fruitless. It only brought those who are not racist together!

Therefore, now people say 'Ok, you don't have like me, you don't have to love me, but you have to respect me'

If you respect other races, creed, religions or who's different from you then you are not racist. Only you and God knows the truth!

God Bless

you haven't explained why you think you're racist.
but from my observation of people in general is that we're judgemental towards different races(or anything that is different from us or against our way of life and thinking!) - not necessarily racist.maybe you need to examine yourself a bit more and explain why you've come to the conclusion that you're racist.

Well, I'm happy to know that you're not a "racist"
But seriously that's great that you think it's a problem.
Now you need to start solving it.

Your probably not. It easy to get caught up in what you hear other people say. You didn't say you hated any one particular race. You didn't really give any details.
