Many of GB's foreign policy is not withstanding with it's standard, when it becomes seemingly a tail of US. Why not it devise a foreign policy that is acceptable for its ME and other Asian as well as African friends?

Well, the UK lacks the big guns of the US.

So, it can't pursue it's own individual strong foreign policy easily. It can be done, but, would require intense negotiations.

It is far easier for Tony Blair to back up behind American Foreign policy because the United States can back words with guns, sometimes for good as in World War II, sometimes for the bad, as what is going on now.

Stop pissing people off for no good reason. Get out of their back yards and their business. Cease all trade in weapons, and close all military bases located in foreign sovereign nations. End immediately all wars that haven't been formally declared by Congress. (which is currently, all of them) From being a bully policeman, become a shining example of fair play. Don't tell me it's naive. It's the way of nobility.

Yes.

The irony is that for centuries it was Britain that had more imperialistic control over the world. Today, the USA is in the position and Britain just wags behind us... like a tail following our lead.

in short, yes they are a tail. as is australia. fact is, US were late to the big wars when the rest of the world needed them, and went ahead and nuked civilians when it was clear they were trying desperately to surrender, then take all the credit for the world not speaking German or Japanese. They invade any country, overtly or by proxy, that does not kiss it's ar$e. it seems clear to me that we don't really need them at all, we have much better trading partners, who don't subsidise their industries as appallingly either. being in a coalition with the current regime is a national security disaster so i say dock the damn tail.

No, because Great Briton does not exist, although Great Britain is full of Britons. Get it right.

Great Britain supported every act of the US in foreign policy because they are allies. They have basically the same religions, forms of government and policies.

There consider themselves natural allies. Britain would have eaten grass in WWII, but for the intervention of the USA, militarily and financially. In diplomacy, you need to have allies and in foreign affairs, you need to act in unison with your friends.
