Well ball pythons will get to be about 5 feet long and I would go with a 35-40 gal tank. Most of them like to stay balled up in a ball but giving them a bigger tank is best for them. I have 2 of them and I keep them in a 50 gal tank with all their other stuff like their water bowl, rock to rub on when they shed, and their bedding. Make sure that you keep their temp in the day at around 84-86 and at night at 82-84. They need to stay warm for them to want to eat and so they can digest the food. If they are to cold they will not eat and that will result in them getting sick.Good Luck

Hi!

For ball pythons I'd say about 45 gallons long. That should be enough for the snake and the equipment.

Good luck!

it all depends on how much time your ball spends in its cage,
there is no formula, a snake doesnt NEED any more space than the size of its coiled up body, IF it gets enough exercise, how ever if it spends most of its time in a tank it needs enough room to move around, and again an adult needs more than a baby

40ish gallons for a relatively small adult male. If you are worried about cost, find the biggest clear Rubbermaid sweater box you can find, use a soldering iron to burn holes in the sides and top for ventilation, and an under the tank heater for heat. They are also very helpful for species that need higher humidity.

THE RULE FOR SNAKE TANKS IS THEY HAVE TO BE AT LEAST HALF THE LENGTH OF THE SNAKE.
