I have to glue styrofoam bricks to plastic drop sheets (normally used for painting.) What do you recommend?

I hear hot glue melts styrofoam, and I've tried super glue (it melts the styrofoam.) Anything with solvents will melt the styrofoam, and accetone won't work, I've tried it.

Here's some info from my website about adhesives for "Styrofoam" (and other brands of polystyrene foams):

Adhesives used to bond polystyrene foam to itself, or to other materials, should not contain solvents (will dissolve it).
....low temp "hot glue" guns are okay
.......high temp hot glue guns reach 385° F and will melt polystyrene foam (though the unhealthy burning doesn't occur till 49.), but low temp guns which reach only 250° F won't melt it and are even suggested for use with Styrofoam)
.......if using a a high temp gun, let the glue cool for a second or so before contacting the foam
...white glues (permanent type)... a poly(vinyl acetate) based (PVA - white glue) adhesive is satisfactory for foams that will not be immersed in water
...a setting type of adhesive (e .g., epoxy) is recommended when optimum resistance to moisture or heat is required
...Super 77 spray adhesive

Since you're applying to plastic, you might need to abraid them a bit to give tooth.... or perhaps you could apply some kind of tape or something to which you'd glue the polystyrene.
