Well, it is too far off, you know, and either an auto or a cab would charge a lot. Moreover, most of the autos in Bangalore are dishonest, and overcharge at the first opportunity that they get. The distance is approximately 26 km, and an auto would charge about Rs. 170-200 (if he is honest) or even more (if he is dishonest).
So, there are two ways:
1. If the train is available, then you can go to Bangalore City Railway Station, from there you come out towards Majestic and then take bus routes like 171, 342, 348, 356, 360 and their extensions.
2. Take a bus from Bellary Road going to City Market and proceed towards the Corporation Building. Walk a little and turn left and you will come across another bus stop. From there take another bus as mentioned above (the same routes). (You can also proceed through Majestic buses, but it would add another 3 km to the route).
3. And yes, if you are willing to spend slightly more money, you can also take private buses or KSRTC buses and proceed towards Mekri Circle, and from there, take any bus going to City Market, and follow the route as mentioned in (2). Compared to BMTC buses, private buses and KSRTC buses are more faster and less overcrowded, but it may prove to be slightly more expensive.

Yelahanka is in North west of the City and Koramangala is in South east of the City. Since you seem to be new to the City, I would suggest you to take an Auto Rickshaw from the Railway Station. In General Bangalore Autos drivers do not cheat. All the Autos have electronic meters. There are City-taxis are also available, but I am not sure whether they are available in Yelahanka Rly. Station. For Autos It may cost you about Rs.150/- to Rs.170/- depending on the place in Koramangala.
