They spent over $360 billion and thousands of US lives to give them freedom. Why do they love them so much? Meanwhile, VA hospitals are infested with rats, American jobs go overseas, the poor has no access to decent health care and secondary education, our US deficits soar. Why do they love Iraqi's more than us?

Eisenhower answererd the question almost 50 years ago-it's the military-industrial complex "stupid." To hell with our country, or Iraq for that matter, when a phony war will put 100's of billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of industry and the government's buddies. It's a no brainer.

Because a lot of them are still operating under the assumption that we are fighting the ones that attacked us. Although I'd like to give a friendly reminder that Iraq never attacked us.

Of course, so many for the freedom of Iraqis don't even know what's going on in Darfur. Open your eyes, people, please. This is about more than 'freedom'. Do you realize out of the 3.8 million Iraqi citizens fleeing their own country because of the war, only 7000 are going to be allowed into America? [plus the 463 that are already here after the war started]. Jordan took in 700,000. Why is it we are the instigators of the war, we are the ones doing "Iraqi Freedom", but we won't even help those in trouble that we are supposedly freeing.

Anyway. I agree with you in a lot of ways. I'm against the war [I support the troops, so please don't anyone jump down my throat as so many are apt to do] and I believe that the money we have spent on this war could be used to benefit our own country so much more.

Iraqis cannot handle things right now! they are poor armed, poor trained and under poor leadership! Remember VN War: the same phrases are used to take US out - result: millions died due to our shameful action! We were murderers back then - we cannot make the same mistake now. You cannot compare their life to us! Welfare must be applied wisely - if you give people money for nothing, people will rely on you more and more. If Iraq falls to terrorists or Iran, I know for sure, we will fight them again some other days! Please open your narrowed eyes to see how this big world functions!

You're absolutely right. Our troops went there to disarm Iraq and throw Saddam out of power. Mission accomplished. The Iraqi people can fight for their own freedom, just like we did.

I don't think they love Iraqis more than Americans. They just want to give Iraq a chance to stand on it's own feet.

You're overreacting.

You are proceeding from a false assumption. We do not love the Iraqis we just plain hate it when their government helps train and fund terrorists who come to America and kill 3,000 of our innocent civilians. We defeated the existing government and are trying to help the Iraqis to form a democratic government so it won't happen again. It is the liberals who love the terrorists and hate America.

nicely, teejay, some conservatives won't help those babies distant places, yet you're stereotyping us in case you suspect all individuals are like that. Our church DOES help many distinctive international locations. we've missionaries in lots of international locations who do extra suitable than merely pontificate to ppl, they grant kindness, love, nutrition, & safeguard to those babies/females in want. of course, many of the Iraqis do no longer care approximately their own babies whilst they deliver them out with a bomb attatched to their our bodies! it is so unhappy! it incredibly is consumer-friendly to concentration all of our interest on different international locations who're lots extra undesirable than we, that many ppl DO tend to forget approximately approximately what a number of our freedom has fee us-freedom to kill an unborn baby. Is that freedom? professional-decision? What a unwell shaggy dog tale! the little one has NO decision. it may be referred to as professional-death. To maximum, abortion has exchange right into a sort of delivery administration. i'm sorry, yet i won't push aside unborn American babies by means of fact of different international locations that are suffering. Who else will take care of them & upward thrust up for their rights? i visit proceed to wish for them AND for the extra unlucky babies around the globe!

Your Congress authorized it. There's plenty of liberals in Congress, too.

You make an assumption that everyone is entitled in the US to 'secondary education'. Check Europe, especially Italy. It's just not the same there.
