I have descovered since I got pregnant that I have 3 new moles. Is this common durring pregnancy? I went to the doctor about the first one because I am so paranoid about getting sick while I am pregnant. I have since descovered 2 more, they are the same as the doctor saw a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone else noticed this?

I wasnt sure about moles, but I knew that skin tags are common to get during pregnancy. I was just reading about skin chnages during pregnancy and this was one of the things it talked about. However, I just searched moles and I found some information on a website that says moles can change in color and size during pregnancy and new ones can even appear.

I have gotten 3 as well, don't know if its normal, but mine are like "skin tags" - moles. I had some when I was like 7 and had them removed... worse part, they're on my neck. Don't know if its normal, but I got them suddenly and I'm 5 mts

Yes, its common. Skin tags are too. There is a book that I definitely recommend. Its called what to expect when youre expecting. Very detailed. And any questions you may have this book should answer. You can find it at babies R us.

I noticed after I had my son my stomach was covered in tiny moles, smaller then a pinhead...I mean like hundreds of them. My son is now six, and I've noticed there's not as many now. They must be disappearing.

no but you are in a growth phase, so anything can grow more, moles are just wierd skin cells growing faster than they should. all the hormones and pregnancy vitamines are helping all that extra growth along.
