It worked fine all week, now it gives off a buzzing sound, or a rattle type of sound. What could be wrong? Music CDs will not play, and I cannot burn files on it anymore.

hi,
This can be probem with ur lens of drive. Try cleaning the lens. if it wont work then u should better get new one.

as he stated.... clean it... or Trash it............ eather some thing is in there rubbing on the CD while its spinning..... the motor on it rather is out of shot... the tray could be broke... making it rub on the tray..... or... some unusual FREAK of peculiar techniques.. that each physique of your CD's are out of stability..... if thats the case take them to the interior of sight tire restore keep and see in the event that they're going to positioned them on the Brake Lathe... and stability them returned........................P.S. ............ the balancing the CD's became a shaggy dog tale.....

u need to clean ur CD ROM lense. or replace with new one.

while copying it is noisy which is normal
