Hey any comments/ thoughts on the last O.C episode tonight...

I agree with everyone here. Sure i was sad about the whole Marissa thing, but the show could have very well continue without her. I'm gonna miss it so much!! I liked the ending...i have to admit, i cried a little.
And i agree too about FOX canceling good shows. At least they waited this long to cancel the O.C.! ... i remember being disappointed when they canceled 'reunion' for example. They're just teaching me not to watch their shows 'cause they will cancel them at the first chance they get.

I am both sad and angry about the ending of the O.C. I was generally happy with the ending, but also thought in the back of my mind how many seasons they just wrapped into one episode. Imagine being able to watch the growth that occurred tonight over the next few, or so, seasons. I just don't get who does the ratings and how wrong they were on this one. Marissa was not the whole show. And what they stated about ratings dropping after she left was outrageous. I feel the story line was going pretty good with everyone picking up the pieces and moving on with their lives. Ryan finally being able to open up with his emotions for a huge example. It will be a great sorrow (as t.v shows go) to see Thursdays come and go without the O.C.

I loved this show and was sad to see it end. Although Marissa was an integral part of the show, she was not the main focus.
I think the most important part of the show was Ryan and his interactions with the Cohens and the other denizens of Newport.
It ended well, though, and wrapped up a lot of loose ends. I generally love "happily ever afters". Besides, there was a very heartwarming message at the end.

I'm really going to miss this show. Everytime, I find a program I enjoy watching they (FOX) cancel it!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..!!!!
