Well I don't believe the US has a Liberal party. There are too few liberals. A reasonable liberal philosophy tries to create a homogeneous society where every one is free in the same way.

Well, I like to think of a nice, descent, wonder human being; a responsible citizen, a caring individual with a sense of responsibility for their fellow man; someone you can trust, someone who is sharp and clean, someone who is a law abiding citizen with good, moral ethics and great family values; someone who has deep and awesome respect for God and a righteous and free country....and so on.
I like to think of ALL those things, and then I just think of the opposite and poof, there you have it, a good liberal.
