I have seen many Chinese women, especially those from Beijing and Shanghai marrying Caucasian men. Been told that this is one of the ways these Chinese women can have a better life outside their own country. Money is also one of the reason too. Can some local Chinese people here on the forum give their comments on this "trend"? Caucasian's comments are welcome too.

Well.....everything changes with time. Many men ( including all races) may find certain Chinese or other asian women attractive. It seems harmless. If you just wanna talk about Chinese women you need to factor in $$$$. It is not hard for chinese to go to USa or EU countries; however once you are a divorced chinese lady with a child. 99% local men dont want to marry them. Whatever the reason may be.......
Good news is Americans are open minded and they accept all races into their lives, they meet these ladies online or otherwise by some matchmaking agencies. Lot of them get married. I have lived in China for 6 + yrs and I see majority of these ladies are just greedy. While they are not really poor or starving for love/sex, they just wane more out of their lives. While their lives have hit a wall in China, they can still cash out in foreign countries. European or American ladies loose their sex-appeal in their 30s, while these ladies keep their bodies in a relatively better shape, resulting ina more satisfying sex for her hubby.
Looks like a win-win situation!

Maybe because genetic reason. When you have mix marriage, usually your children will be genius (so they say) and also goergeous.
Usually in their mind(Chinese women) they are looking for better living and security.The trend doesn't stop only in Beijing/Shanghai, its happening all over Asia. I'm an Asian too and mix marriage but not with caucasian.

The children from the union are beautiful. I am Eurpean/Native American and alot of my girl friends have been Asian mix or full-blood and I see them as very beautiful! My uncle was married to a Japanese woman as well.
