I think everyone knows that, if you listen to Megadeth - i think Mustaine is a far more inventive and interesting guitarist, Synphony of Destruction and the Holy Wars... stand up to anything Metallica have ever done.

Yes. Compare "Mechanix" by Megadeth to an early Metallica track (might be "Four Horsemen") to see how Mustaine speeded it up and gave it balls.
