Is there a hydraulic device that turns a piston instead of pusing it?

The Wankle engine does it for hot gases.
For water: undershot waterwheel, overshot waterwheel, Archimedes' screw, water-turbine etc.
The Problem is that they are no longer called Pistons!!!!!!
