I live in Mississippi, and, hell, I don't even know any. Who are these people? Where are they living? Are they going extinct? Where did all of the "W" stickers go?

from what I can tell... they fall into two main camps...

A. the wealthy conservatives... they don't care what he does, as long as he keeps the tax cuts... money is the focus (and they may say they support his other issues, but it's really just a ploy to try to gain him support, which is good for the party that keeps their taxes low)

B. Christian Conservatives near poverty... they don't watch the news really, maybe listen to Rush and that's "their news"... but they support him because he's against abortion and gay marriage, and don't really keep up or care about the other issues (until their son loses a leg or his life in Iraq, then they either go super lib or they turn into a conservative that's a bit disenfranchised, at least, as shown in the midterm Republican turnout)

there are of course others that don't fit these types (those who get their facts off newsmax and Fox only) and others, but they seem to be in lower numbers overall...

We are still around although I don't support him in everything I do in many. And I do my own research. Like an interesting fact (coming from the department of defense website) that I will get to in a moment. I still fail to see where Bush has lied about the war on terror. But we all need a scapegoat to turn to when we don't think things are going right. the media never gives us any of the good news happening in Iraq and the libs who run the democratic party are invested in defeat on the war on terror only because it hurts Bush or so they think. Right before congress voted to give bush the power to take out Saddam Hillary gave a speech in congress you should look it up. In part she said I have done my own research on this subject and have come to the conclusion that Saddam should be made to honnor the resolutions set by the U.N. or be taken out. Now she says she was duped by Bush two totally diferent stories. so you blame Bush for the 3100 solders killed fighting terror. Under Clinton during the same time frame more then 4200 solders were killed mostly in training exercises. Do we blame him for that? And as far as Bush giving tax cuts for the rich only. You will find on the library of congress website that in reality the rich paid a lower % of taxes under Clinton then under Bush and the middle class paid a higher % under Clinton. But I am very angry at the way Bush has handled illigal immigration. If we vote in a Hillary Clinton or Obama in 08 look for 4 of the worst years in American history to happen. But they have an out they will just blame Bush lol

I guess I am in that 28%, I also believe that the troop surge should have been done a long time ago.
I just do not understand the way liberals "think".
Conservatives are not all wealthy or ignorant as some more ignorant answerers put either.

Republicans tend NOT to bumper sticker their cars......and did it ever occur to anyone that the percentage of Bush supporters are actually right in supporting him? Only the future knows.....

I still see the stickers everywhere.
And get dirty looks for my "Bush Lies" sticker.
I live in GA.

I personally think a lot of them have been supporting him for so long, and flaming everyone who doesn't so vehemently, that even now they support him just because they don't want to be embarassed by the way they've been acting and the things they've been saying.

A lot of others don't research, or know the facts. They just think we're anti-American for not supporting him and will continue to support him no matter how many lies are uncovered or how many more bad choices he makes.

You can't generalize the troops and say they all support him. A lot don't, and have come back from the war to speak out against him. Supporting the troops does not equal supporting the war or the president.

So are you in Jackson, Mississippi? Try getting out of the city. Larger cities tend to be more Democratic.

They are America’s bottom feeders; simple of mind, and fearful and violent of nature. Their belief system is so tightly woven together, culminating in their worship of a brutally judgmental and humanity-hating Old Testament God, that if one part is proven false, then everything they believe is false.

Early on, they committed their faith to Bush as the earthly embodiment of their God’s doctrine. They saw Bush as the purest symbol of all that is good, American, holy, and right.
When Bush invaded Iraq and started torturing and killing Muslims for no reason, they knew that he was, indeed, the instrument of their God, put on earth to slaughter all non-believers.
Now, they cannot admit to their mistake because they would have to face the fact that they are pathologically stupid.

They are the people that have been in Iraq and develop their opinion through experience, not by judging the war from the safety of their couch.
