This is a very sophisticated question. I am 20 and I sometimes think I am very intellingent in certain areas, but at times, I seem to be very inexperienced in other areas of my life. And sometimes I dont even care about how much I know about life? What is the normal age for a man to know what his life is all about, excluding career and academic goals. So, I guess that would include his personal life and relationships with others. I sometimes think I am a know it all and then things come up that I have to seek guidance.

Great question: The male brain develops slower than the female brain. The age that most men's brain is done maturing is around 25years old. The thing that is critical for us guys is that this area of the brain that takes us 25 years to finish developing, is also the area that helps us make big decisions ans choices such as a marriage mate, to have kids or not and so on.

Human frontal lobes are not fully developed until the late 20's.

After that happens, you'll probably start thinking about stuff like life-insurance and stock markets, buying a house, raising a family --- those future things. I'd focus on a good education now, anyway. Period.

As far as knowing what life is all about, beyond career and academic goals, I do not believe that there is a set date or time-table that can be met. When it comes to knowledge and wisdom, it's not the years, it's the mileage.

Some things are not knowable. The personal behavior and inter-personal relationships are on-going, and generally the quiz levels just get more difficult as one gets older and takes on more responsibilities.. . When it comes to the meaning of life, well, philosophy and religion might pacify us but in our death will shall find the answers.
Good luck and may good times be with you on your travels through life.

900 years old, like Mathusalem. Maturing is an every day process you may solve some situations with wise ease, and other making mistakes and other childish.

You want to be mature, learn this, always and only always, you have the power of choice (to make a decision).

Welcome to the human race. Maturity? When you are on your death bed at 70-80 yrs old, ask that again. You never fully mature until you shut your eyes for the last time.
