I cant watch 5 minutes of it and dont understand why its so popular.

cause people want to see the worst singrs like william hung the she bangs guy also so they can say at the water cooler"did you check out that guy on idol he was hot" and those who dont watch it are looked at as turds i dont watch it or any reality show except mythbusters and dirty jobs

I like it if I start watching it from the beginning so that you 'know' the constants! I start to really root for one in particular... but if you only watch one episode then I see how it wouldn't be so interesting! It's just like any other reality show... they're addicting!!

i dont know..but i really love watch malaysian idols because it really have talented singer..but i dont know about american idol cause i have never watch it but i really like kelly clarrkson and carrie underwoods.
