Just because your cervix is soft doesn't necessarily mean that you will go into labor soon. A woman call be dilated and effaced for weeks and not go into labor so there is no way to tell.

It can all depend. Did your doctor not mention having sex, walking, etc. Do something active to help you go into labor.

Im sure at this time your feeling like that baby will never come out, but soon you will be holding that bundle of joy!! :)

you haveto be dilated, efaced and the baby has to be stationed accordig to my doc and child birthing class. my cervix is almost fully effaced and im 2cm dilated but baby hasn't stationed yet so no labor...but soon
