I can't get it out, and I don't know what to do, I've never had one before.

In general, just pulling on the paper FIRMLY without ripping it should be enough to extricate the paper.

Preferably from the side where it gets ejected though, rather than the input direction, but which ever way is more efficient.

In the mean time, check your Owner's manual or go to your printer's manufacturer's website for Troubleshooting and\or FAQ for your particular Model.
