He might be starting to show his controlling side. My ex husband started this about a year after our marriage, but the way he did it was slow. He slowly took my life from me and made it into what he wanted, and out of love (and stupidity) I went along because I trusted him (stupidly). 4 years later I divorced him. He had been accusing me of having affiars although my cell was always one and i answered it every time. He would even drive to where I was and always found me, so he had no reason to suspect me. It could be your friend's husband is having an affair himself and projecting the guilt onto her. I can honestly say I never once cheated on my husband throughout our marriage. She might want to keep an eye on his behavior.

Either he suspects her of having a "special" friend (cheating) or he's cheating and is transferring it back on her. Oftentimes when a spouse is guilty of something they accuse the other of it to put them on the defensive.

Perhaps your friend's husband has reason to be checking her txt messages. And if you wish to remain friends, PLEASE do NOT become involved. :)
