Hi, it depends what you want out of your games console really. Here's a breakdown of the main points of each console:

Wii:
-New and innovative controller system which is just basically a LOT of fun and also adds a new dimention to gaming, especially with sports games where you can be more active.
-Zelda is a great game
-Much more likely to have quirkier titles that might be a bit different
-Great for parties when you have four remotes, lots of multiplayer games
-It does have internet access, with a wireless card built in, the news and weather channels are great, you can message your friends online and exchange WiiMiis. Hopefully more online games in the future
-Virtual console downloading, where you can buy all the old games from retro consoles and save them on your Wii
-You can look at photos from your SD mem card
-You can make WiiMiis (crazy people of yourself and your friends that live on your Wii)

XB360:
-Good Next Generation graphics, will play games in HD
-A lot more games available as it has been out for a year
-Much more 'grown up' style games
-Will get Halo 3
-Will play DVDs, though you will need to buy a HD DVD drive seperately
-Wireless controllers
-Large 20GB hard drive so there is plenty of space to save your games, also this is removable so you can take it to your friends house too
-Has Xbox live, where you can download mini games, demos and play against other people online. You have to play a monthly subscription fee for the gold membership which lets you play online though.
-You can keep track of your achievements and other gamers can see your score online.

One important point is that you will most likely be able to easily get hold of a 360 straight away, while the Wii is still in short supply, though if you are persistant and determined you can get hold of one.

Hope this helps!

Xbox 360 elite, I have more fun on the on-line play then on Ps3. Wii is fun but who what's to play kiddie games all day? I love the fact that xbox gives me a reason to keep playing, Achievements are something to accomplish in every game. There's more of on-line crazyness on XBox I'll never go back to Playstation and That use to be my no.1 system until last. I am 22 I've been playing games since I was 4. That means I've been playing games since 1990. I know alot about games and 360 has something for everyone, from the shooter, family games, sports, and anything else you can think of. The only thing a Ps3 has over everything else is a blu-ray. But blu ray players are going to get cheaper.

This is an extremely difficult question to answer. I have a Wii myself and I really enjoy playing it, Zelda is phenomenal and the motion sensing is a cool new way to play games. Unfortunately Xbox reigns supreme when it comes to online play and it's very difficult to pass up. A lot of my friends have 360s and they're on Live almost every night. Although I don't wanna spend $400 on one I know I eventually will because Gears of War is extremely addictive and I'd really like to finish off the Halo trilogy. I would say buy the 360 first, not only will you be able to get your hands on one a little easier, there are plenty more games available and you will be able to play online right away. Wii is still very fun though :)

The wii because it is fun. Zelda is a game that no one should miss out on and Super Smash Bros Brawl is comming out sometime soon and its going to be really cool. You also can't beat the price. It's a very good deal for the wii and the wii sports game. Usually games that comes with a system sucks but not wii sports, its really fun.

defiantly the xbox 360. the games are better for people and halo 3 is coming out on the platform. the wii's only good games are the ones made by Nintendo because other game companies can't quite figure how the heck to make their games so the wii remote works. the xbox 360 has a bigger list and if you have and hd TV it is so awesome. plus halo 3 is coming out for it too. i already said that didn't i. buy xbox 360!

First of all, while Zelda is great (I have it), Red Steel is TERRIBLE. My bro in law bought it and wished he didn't after about 5 minutes.

I would recommend a 360, because it has the most good games in its library and the most features. I played my Wii every day for nearly a month, and now I am bored with it. I play mostly 360 now.

Truly I think you should get the nintendo wii. It is the most interactive gaming system in the world. Also it has other fun games and the wii never gets boring.
