Well let me try to explain a little. Do you know what the "point 7" means? It basically means that it is 410 + 7/10. So look at it like this: 410/1 (anything divided by 1 equals iself) + 7/10. Then you find a common denominator... that would be 10. So the 7/10 you don't have to do anything to and you simply multiply the numerator by 10 on the other number. So we get 4100/10 + 7/10. Add the two numerators and you get your answer, 4107/10.

Since you have only one place in the decimal, you have tenths, seven of them to be precise. So the fraction is 7/10. Rule of thumb: If you have one place in the decimal, divide the decimal part by ten, if two places, divide by 100. 3 places, by 1000, and so on.
