Hello there,

My husband and I have a home based online business that may be right for you. I can't really give a lot of details here since it's against the rules of this site but if you're interested send me an email and I'll write back to you with more details.

If you have great business idea and able to take risk, then I would suggest that you go into Business. However, finding the capital is always the problem. You may end up with nothing if the Business is not doing well, but you may end up a rich man if the Business prosper.

To find a job is, like I say, more stable. But you will also need to worry about the future (many years later) whereby the more educated younger generation start taking over. To stay competitive, you must keep upgrading yourself whenever you can. Drawing a decent monthly salary is comforting, but you can never dream of getting rich (not even if you save really hard, unless you strike lottery) from that, which means you will simply be a 'worker bee' no matter how hard you work.

But all this is just my opninion. You will have to think carefully about what is the prority in your own life. All the best!

Yes. My military recruiter looked at my grades as well as my ASVAB scores. My Rate required good science scores to get into, and with lower ones, I would have had to have a different job. Then, when I got out of the service, the first two colleges that I attended both looked at my High School grades (the third looked at my grades from previous colleges). I now make $22-$25 an hour doing work that is substantially the same as what I did for 2 of the 4 years that I was in the service. Last night, I spent 4 of my 8.5 hours at work...on break, being paid for it. Compare that to $10 an hour welding, stocking shelves, or running a cash register, or $7 an hour slinging burgers...I've done all of these except the welding...and you don't get a 4 hour break at any of those.

The most important thing one can do when earning a living is to do something they are passionate about. There's no right or wrong answer as it is a personal choice. More often than not, most people aren't living their dreams.

A wise person will have a healthy work/balance life. Remember, when it comes time to pass on, it isn't our employers or our co-workers that will be our pall bearers. It will be the ones who love us the most.

I have no doubt in this. Business is better in any case. Since doing a job is only for personal interests, whereas while doing business you can serve many other people alongwith financial freedom to contribute heavily for the welfare of society too.

I would have to say a business. The main reason being that there is no cap on your salary. The more you learn and apply what you have learned, the more money you make.
With a home business, you set your own hours and create both the time and freedom to spend with your family, or do the things you love.
