You will need to get into medical school which is very competitive. An average medical school gets thousands of applicants a year and will only accept around 150-200 students every year. Make sure you have a strong background in the sciences but remain well rounded. Have outside experiences in athletics or the arts. You will need to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA in undergrad college course work and aim to score at least a 30 on the MCAT. Since you are still in high school, talk to a guidance counselor to see if there are any programs available to get you on the right path.
