the republicanism of Ronaldus Magnus aka: Regan The Great. Newt Gingrich opened with a great plan: The contract with america.. George Washington , and company, did a wonderfull job of founding our nation on Christian (not party, not even denominational) ideals -- that, I think, is best.. GWB is a fine example of a Christian President.

I like W, and I am a Christian, but we don't need a "christian president" we need a good president. Anyways, it really depends on the era, I like some things on a lot of the platforms, I agree a lot with the Libertarians if they did not have a terrible foriegn policy. Im not sure I can really Identify with any party, the Republican party of today, if they were not so far right on a couple of social issues, though I am a big fan of tradition, I don't care about abortions or homosexuals one way or the other. I love History, though neither party wants to preserve that until it serves their interests. The Progressives were the best for there era, Wilson and Roosevelt are two of my favorite presidents. I suppose I identify with them the most, even though I'd be more in the mold of Roosevelt, what we could do with another man like him in the helm of our country.

A true conservative party, the current republican party is just a hollow shell of the great ideas left behind by the others. I don't think the "great" Reagan was a true conservative either. A party with real conservative values, not christian, nor mulsim and as for the founding fathers they were Mason's I'm open to that. The great George Washington went to church a lot but what he practised and how he led his life was not christianity. So a true conservative party.

Currently well the Constitution party, they could lighten up a bit on social issues though, or hte Libertarian party, if they tighten up things a bit socially.
