How dumbass are the people who ask a question just to give "best answer" to somebody who agrees with their opinion? I mean, are these dumbasses so pathetic and insecure that they must have public affirmation? Isn't that just the epitome of dumbass?
P.S. Whoever replies to the effect of "Yes, they are dumbasses" gets best answer. The highest word count for "dumbass" will be the tiebreaker, but "dumbass" must be used in coherent sentences.

Of course this begs a follow up question about why people communicate at all in a situation where they can't guarantee the quality of the answers they're likely to get.
If you troll a question looking for a like-minded answer it's self-fulfillment.
If you look for an argument then you're likely wasting everyone's time, unless the argument takes a rare and highly entertaining turn.
Chances are 90% of what you get as answers will have no value for intellectual growth or insight.
So you spend alot of time on Y!A for the 10% of meaningful answers and the rare entertaining argument that actually makes you grow.
All of which is predicated on the assumption that the question was interesting: what percentage of these questions are interesting to you?
Since you can see that the odds are highly against any question having a particularly interesting answer, I have to conclude that either the forum itself is intrinsically entertaining, or you've just seen the dentist and you're killing time until the dental analgesic wears off.

How much of a superiority complex do people have to have to create a question debating the insecurities of others that answer questions on a website designed to do so?
Not really a point to asking a question like that to the public. Just be happy that you feel like you understand the motives behind it yourself. And be content with that. You'll be less annoyed with the world around you. And the world around you will be less annoyed with you. The superiority complex will fade, and you will suddenly feel at home in the world.
