Well I go to Boces (it's on Long Island so I don't know if you live there or not) and right now we are on our unit in Grooming. I take Animal Care there, we are learning the basics. But Animal Science is learning stuff such as clipping, expressing anal glands(one thing I'm glad I'm not learning there stuff). So try a techincal school maybe? Hope that helped.

Call local groomers and ask where they went.
Chances are, they can train you.
There are "how to" books too.
I don't think you need formal training.
