I think that most of us think that a life without struggles would be the perfect life. If we just had all the money, the perfect lovelife, the perfect family and home and cars and job and nothing was a struggle, it would be perfect.

But in reality, if we were never sick we couldn't appreciate being in good health. If we didn't work hard to earn money, we would be like all of the instant millionaires who win lotteries and then lose it all in 2 years or less. If we didn't have to struggle to make a relationship work, we wouldn't know the joy that comes from understanding and love. If raising kids were easy, we'd all have 10!

In the end, everything has an opposite, and the only way to learn how good it can be is to feel how bad it can be too. It's in our nature to try to solve problems, because there are always going to be problems.

Oh and here's a good one. If a kid is so smart in school that he never has to do homework or struggle to learn anything, it all just comes so easy...then when he gets to college or the real world, and things are difficult, it is much harder for that kid to not be in his perfect world anymore. Sometimes those who had to struggle more and become more disciplined are the ones who make it to the top.

Sometimes it's tough to remember this, but if you can focus on it every morning and carry it with you throughout the day, I swear it does work:

The energy you put forth into the Universe is what you will receive.

Have you seen "The Secret" yet? It is a documentary that teaches about the above mentioned, more simply put, the "laws of attraction"... and has become so popular that Oprah Winfrey has done a few shows on it and the creators of it, and her online message boards have since then exploded on the topic. I personally found it in a small metaphysical book shop and it has truly changed my life. I strongly suggest it to anyone who searches for the answers to your question.

Whether you believe in "God" or Buddah, or simply what science can prove, this will knock your socks off!

Love & blessings in your journeys!

I feel i have achieved more than i could have expected.
Realationship wise - parents, friends, brothers, sisters, school friends, realationships.. I think i passed these tests struggles etc.

Then on to work. learning how to intergrate with others.
working together as a team. how to stay employed.
how to live and keep myself sheltered and warm
feed and clothed.

Sometimes even the most simplest struggles in life are the most basic and im proud to make it to where i am today in life.
but there is always more to learn.. so much more.

No. Without God it is not worth it. All the struggles of life are meaningless.

Life is precious and should be looked at in that light. In the end, what does it matter to me, you or anyone else for that matter. If I were to die, how would it affect you? If you were to die, it wouldn't matter to me other than I would feel for your next of kin should I have known you. Think about it.

Life would be pointless without struggles. It wouldn't even exist -- it would be like a story with no conflict.
Existence is based on irreconcilable differences.

So you want people to help you define life as meaningful, but have determined that this meaning can’t include a creator? Well there is your problem. You want reality on your own terms. You are at war with "He who can not be named"...

what does not kill you will only make you stronger. I have struggled like most people, but learn from it and try to turn the situation around for the good.

What do you really think your answer will be if its not realting to God? I'm afraid if you don't want the real answer, you may be out of luck finding the one you want! God Bless!

i'm on a struggle right now, and at first i could barely handle it, but now i realize that struggles, if you know how to handle them, are "teachers". they really teach you something life changing if you can go beyond the ordinary.
