It depends on the conditions the object is in. Weight is a force, normally measured in Newtons whereas mass is a scalar quantity usually measured in grams.

Force = Mass X Acceleration

If both were not subjected to any acceleration (zero gravity) then they would weigh the same.

If the gram (which is 1000 times less massive than the kilogram) is in a gravitational field a sufficient amount larger than that of the kilogram than it will weigh more.

The kilogram weighs more on earth or in any system that it shares with the gram in which both are subjected to the same acceleration.
