The ratings for the Apprentice having been dropping every year since the show first premiered in the US. Although the series is still one of the most-watched programs on NBC in the advertiser-friendly 18-49 age demographic, the franchise's total audience gradually dissolved, starting in late 2004, when it aired its second season that culminated in, what most Apprentice fans deem, an "overextended" 3-hour season finale on December 16, 2004.

It all started with the Trump vs. Rosie O Donell "skit" That Mr. McMahon put on (i think it was New Year's Day)

"The Donald" -wants attention. He's not THAT good a businessman, so he's edging into showbusiness. Seems to better suit his personality... P. T. Barnum would've been proud.

It's because of Mr. McMahon and he dosen't wrestle just like Mr. McMahon dosen't anymore
