I want 2 know the best train rout which reaches nearest to shirdi, so that minimum road journey is required.

You must reach by train to Manmad, from here you can take bus for shirdi it will take approx. 2 hours....... regular buses available.... all time....

The most suitable train to go to Shirdi from Delhi is the Karnataka Express running from New Delhi to Bangalore. This train has a scheduled stop at Kopergaon, which is with in six kilo meters from Shirdi. You can get plenty of autos/taxis/cabs from railway station.

U can travel from Delhi to Aurangabad By Air which is 125KM away from Shirdi.Then U can hire a taxi for the rest of the journey.
Otherwise u can catch a train to Manmad which is just 60KM away from Shirdi. Then u have to hire a taxi.U can also travel by train to Aurangabad or to nashik and then go to Shirdi by taxi.
