Which one is it "glamor" or "glamour"...? The magazine is spelled as Glamour and I like the way that one is spelled, but in the dictionary it is glamor. Help!

American English=glamor
British English=glamour

Extra Extra Read all about these two spellings. Speaking of spellings, the original meaning was 'to cast a spell'. The Glamour mag was founded in 1939, and Glamor was the name of a demonic character in a Stephen King movie. Not making that up. Check out these similar but different pages:

it can be either. it's one of those american/british words that can be spelled either way. here in american, it tends to be spelled as glamor, without the u, but glamour is also accepted.

the magazine probably spelled it differently on purpose. i think its glamor

I think it depends on which side of the pond you're on.
The U.S. is Glamor
The U.K. Glamour

british and australians spell it glamour.
i personally like it that way.
