its best to use an opk in the after noon between 1 and 8 pm, it the opposite to a pregnancy test that is better taken first thing in the morning. being as it only tests for a certain hormone, sex is will not interfere with the results. just make sure you do not drink or wee for about two hours before testing. also bare in mind you may not ovulate every month or even ovulate when you think you do. my opk test positive on day 16.

It depends on the test and when you are having sex. The brand that is use "answer" doesnt want me to use first morning urine, I have to wait until at least 10am but before 2pm. I dont think it would be a problem to take it after sex as long as it is just pee you are putting on the stick. Good Luck

Isn't it best to do those with the first wee you do in the morning after you get up?
